16-17 It’s news I’m most proud to proclaim, this extraordinary Message of God’s powerful plan to rescue everyone who trusts him, starting with Jews and then right on to everyone else! God’s way of putting people right shows up in the acts of faith, confirming what Scripture has said all along: “The person in right standing before God by trusting him really lives.”

For Reflection

Each generation probably thought that their experiences in the times in which they lived were the most spiritually difficult. Of course, our current generations think the same thing.  What is important to remember is that no matter how difficult times seem to be, they are comparatively no more difficult.  Sure, our modern technologies have made living a life in Christ more complicated. However, the solution has not changed. Returning to the Gospel and living the life that Christ taught us to live clarifies our purpose for living just as it did over 2000 years ago.  Remember the covenant and rest in Christ Jesus.

Pray

Pray so that you are not distracted by the world as others perceive it.  Pray, so you can understand your role in this world as God has intended it.
