For Reflection

Is there a more fitting metaphor for God's overture for reconciliation and renewal than a sunrise? I am a morning person.  The solitude of the early hours, just before sunrise, is my time. The noisy world is still muffled.  In the marrow of the morning, I find peace and peace envelopes me. The promise of tomorrow arrives and with it, another second chance.

"When morning gilds the sky,
our hearts awaking cry:
May Jesus Christ be praised!"*

Pray

Sing songs of praise.  Give thanks to God for the beauty of creation. Thank God for the opportunities for renewal.  Pray so that you can give yourself to God.  Worship God in prayer and sacrifice.
