The Message

^23-24 May God himself, the God who makes everything holy and whole, make you holy and whole, put you together—spirit, soul, and body—and keep you fit for the coming of our Master, Jesus Christ. The One who called you is completely dependable. If he said it, he’ll do it!
^25-27 Friends, keep up your prayers for us. Greet all the followers of Jesus there with a holy embrace. And make sure this letter gets read to all the brothers and sisters. Don’t leave anyone out.
²⁸ The amazing grace of Jesus Christ be with you! 

For Reflection

Are you fit for the coming of the Master?  I did not say, "are you perfect? "  No one is perfect.  Our reconciliation to God is perfect.  Our transformation in Jesus Christ is a work in progress.  We are saved from perfection by the unearned Grace of God. 

Pray

in gratitude for the gift of Jesus Christ. Pray that you will have the courage to follow in the way of Christ in obedience to God's call to His kingdom. Pray prayers of thanksgiving for the person God has made you and for the person that you are still becoming.  Pray for all Christians who follow the Way.  Pray for all people so they might find the Way.
